Hawkins,the first man to jump out of an aeroplane with speed greater than sound

The first man to jump out of an aeroplane when traveling at a speed greater than sound was Arthur Ray Hawkins ,one of the most outstanding United States Navy pilots.Jumps of this sort had long been regarded as imposible.During an air show over Mississippi in 1954,Hawkins was flying an entirely new type of plane.At 40,000 feet the nose of the plane dipped sharply.No matter how hard he tried ,Hawkins could not pull it out of the dive and it gathered such speed that it was soon travelling faster than sound.Strapped in his seat,and hanging upside-down,the pilot could not reach the button which would destroy the top of the plane.Near him however there was another buttom which was to be used only in times of very great danger.Hawkins pressed it.There was an explosion and his seat which shielded him to some extent burst through the glass shell above his head .While still half conscious,Hawkins tried to pull the ribbon which would open his parachute .It was fortunate that he failed it his attempt,for at such a rate of speed ,the parachute would have been torn to pieces.As he sped towards the earth ,he realized that the breathing-tube which supplied him with air had also been torn away.Rapidly losing consciousness because of the lack of air,he knew that he had to open the parachute -otherwise he might not get another chance to do so.At about 29,000 feet the parachute opened and Hawkins pulled a handle which freed him from the pilot seat.While swinging through the air in slow motion, he began to tremble with cold and everything went grey : he was not getting enough air!just then ,he remembered a rule for breathing at great heights.He took short,sharp breaths and so forced air into the bloodstream.This kept him alive until at 10,000 feet,he could breathe without difficulty.Soon afterwards,he landed safely in a field of cotton.His plane crashed into a wood nearby ,but luckily no one was hurt.

Troy

Homer the great blind poet of ancient Greece wrote a long account of Trojan war in the Iliad.People had long been interested in finding the city of Troy,but the only man who took Homer's description seriosly was Heinrich Schliemann Using Homer as his guide,Schliemann discovered what was almost certainly the ancient city of Troy.Though he had made in his aim to find Troy as a young man ,Schliemann was only able to realize his ambitions after he had become a successful merchant.Schliemann at once realized that the spot in Asia Minor generally believed to be Troy did not match Homer's detailed description.According to Homer,a palace of sixty rooms had been built on a hill and the Greeks and marched between their ships and the city several times a day.The hill on which Troy was supposed to have been built was not only very small ,but was a great distance from the sea as well.Much nearer the sea ,Schliemann came across a bigger hill .Homer had written that Achilles and Hector had run round the walls of Troy three times while fighting each other.Having calculated that this would have been possible,Schliemann decided to did.It was not long before he discovered the remains of a city -not Troy,but a much later one called New Iliium.when his workmen dug deeper,Schliemann was most surprised to find that there were no less than nine cities built on top of each other .But which of these was Troy?.Homer again provided Schliemann with two important facts: the city had been built of stone and had been burnt to the ground by the conquering Greeks.Schliemann believed that the second city must have been Troy,for he found the ruins of a palace and a large gate blackened by fire.Yet the most astonishing discovery was still to come .After noticing something shining in the soil ,Schliemann got so exited that he dug with his bare hands.He unearthed the beautifully preserved treasure of King Priam: gold,silver,and jewellery,thus completing one of the most important historical discoveries ever made.

The Angler fish is the ugliest creature in the world and lives completely engulfed in darkness on the most chilly,damp,inhospitable environment in the world,the bottom of the sea.There are about 200 kinds of angler fish and they live in the depths of the Antlantic and Antarctic ocean.Some angler fish can reach about a yard in length.Their most interesting feature which only the females have is a piece of flesh that hangs over their mouths like a fishing pole which is where they got their names actually,The males have no need for the fishing rod adoption,they have adopted to become parasits in their own accord and are fed and cared for by the much larger female.They become permanent mates when a young male angler encounters a female,he latches on to her with his sharp teeth.Over the course of time ,the male physically fuses his own body with that of the connecting to her skin and their blood streams fuse as well.He loses his eyes and all of his internal Organs except for only testes ,and remains there for the rest of his life.In point of fact most females have more than just one.They will carry as many as ten males on their bodies,however the average is about five or six male.Know that the males lengths are about 18 Cm and the females ones are about 18 times bigger.
ماهی قلاب دار از زشت ترین موجودات دنیا می باشد که در عمیق ترین و تاریک ترین محیط نا مهمان پذیر زندگی میکند.200 نوع از این ماهی وجود دارد که در اقیانوس آتلانتیک و قطب جنوب زندگی می کنند.بعضی از ماهی ها طولشان به یک یارد هم می رسد.نرها حدود 10 سانتیمتر طول دارند که ماده ها 10 برابر نرها طولشان می شود که همان حدود 1 متر می باشد.جالب در خلقت اینها این هست که ماده ها دهانشان را مثل استخر یا حوضچه ای باز نگه میدارند تا طعمه به سمت آنها جذب شود و تا آن را شکار کنند شاید اسم قلاب ماهی را هم روی این اصل به خود اختصاص داده اند.نرها احتیاج به ماهی گیری ندارند! آنها باید خیلی جستجو کنند تا همسر خود را پیدا کنند وقتی که پیدا کردند ماهی ماده رابا دندانهای تیز خود گاز می گیرند و دیگر رها نمی کنند که نمی کنند به طوری که چشمهای خود را از دست می دهند و همینطور تمام ارگانها و اندامهای داخلی خود را جز اندام زایش. و جریان خون نوع نر با ماده یکی می شود و نوع نر تا آخر عمر سر جای خودش باقی می ماند .ماده ها معمولا تا 10 تا نر هم می توانند داشته باشند اما تعداد متوسط حدود 5 الی 6 ماهی نر است

حضرت امیر (ع) در کلمات گهر بار خود در نهج البلاغه می فرمایند که همانا آغاز پدید آمدن فتنه ها به سوی خواهش های نفسانی است و اگر حق به باطل پوشیده نگردد دشمنان را مجال طعنه زدن نماند.لیکن اندکی از این و آن گیرند تا به هم درآمیزد و شیطان فرصت یابد و حیلت بر انگیزد تا بر دوستان خود چیره شود در شرایطی که مرز میان حق و باطل بسیار نزدیک و شکننده است فتنه و فتنه گران و جهل جاهلان می تواند مرز میان حق و باطل را مخدوش سازد و باطل در کسوت حق عامل تفرقه و تشتت گردد
